Meta Business Suite and your in-app connection

What you prepare in Meta Business Suite lines up with the Facebook & Instagram connection under Settings after you sign up. This guide is for admins who can approve Business assets and OAuth access.

Before you connect in the app

Short checklist — if these are true, you’re less likely to pause mid-flow for missing roles or assets.

  • Someone with admin or equivalent access to the Facebook Business that owns your ad accounts and Page.
  • An ad account in good standing (billing and policy) for the campaigns we’ll run on your behalf.
  • When you use catalog or vehicle ads, a product catalog that matches how you sell (e.g. vehicle inventory) — configured in Meta’s commerce tools where applicable.

Why we say “Meta” here. Facebook and Instagram Business tools live under Meta Business Suite and Meta Commerce Manager — that’s the naming Meta uses in the UI. On the rest of our marketing site we usually say Facebook and Instagram; in this doc we match the product names you’ll click in Business settings.

Setup checklist

Work through these with whoever owns your Business — same expectations as our public checklist, with more detail for documentation.

  • 1

Business and ad account access. La Lista connects through the official Facebook login: you choose which Business, ad accounts, and permissions to grant. That mirrors what you see in Meta Business Suite — the same assets should be ready before you start OAuth so approvals go through in one session when possible.

  • 2

Facebook Page. You need a Facebook Page tied to your brand. It’s used for publishing and identity on Facebook and Instagram where those placements apply. If you manage multiple Pages, know which one should be primary for your campaigns before connecting.

  • 3

Product catalog (when applicable). For catalog-driven inventory ads, your product catalog should reflect the vehicles or items you advertise. We sync items you mark for marketing from your feed into that workflow — the catalog itself is configured in Meta Business / Commerce Manager to match your business type.

  • 4

Roles: your team vs. ours. Keep a clear line between people who manage your Page day-to-day and the technical access you grant to La Lista for automation. That makes audits, handoffs, and permission reviews straightforward for your admin.

In the La Lista app

After signup, finish the connection where your team manages integrations.

Settings → Integrations

Open Settings → Integrations to run OAuth, verify your Page, catalog, and ad accounts, and resolve any blocking issues the assistant surfaces. New accounts can sign up here.

Privacy & access

How we think about permissions and data — beyond this setup flow.

OAuth access can be reviewed and revoked from your Business. What we process and store is summarized in our Privacy policy and Security & trust pages.
