The clean split: what your team does once (install nothing), and what LaLista handles every night

LaLista team3 min read

One of the first questions a dealership asks us is: "What do we have to install on our website?" The answer is: nothing. No pixel, no script, no plugin, and no change to your privacy policy or your cookie banner. Here is how the work is divided, and why it is divided that way.

Your side: two steps, once

Everything your team does happens at the start and takes about ten minutes.

  1. Connect your stock. Tell us where your cars are listed. In Sweden that is your website, or your stock on Wayke, Blocket or Bytbil. In Germany it is your online listings, which we read automatically. Nobody uploads a photo or types in a price. About two minutes.
  2. Share your Facebook Page. You add LaLista as a partner on your Page with the "Ads" permission and nothing else. No password changes hands, and you don't need a Meta ad account of your own. About five minutes.

After that, your team's part is the one that needs people: answering those who call, message and visit.

Why nothing goes on your website

Many ad setups start with a tracking snippet on the dealer's site: the Meta Pixel, a server connection for the Conversions API, and sometimes tags for other platforms. That makes the dealer's website part of the advertising machinery, with everything that follows: a developer to install it, a consent banner to update, a privacy policy to rewrite, and a vendor who suddenly processes data about your visitors.

We chose not to do that. The results LaLista shows — how many people saw each car and how many clicked through — come from Meta's own delivery figures, so we don't need anything on your pages to report them. Your website stays exactly as it is, and your visitors' data stays yours.

LaLista's side: every night, without you

Everything else is ours, continuously:

  • Reading your stock. Every car you list, with its photos, price, mileage and other details, read again every night.
  • The catalogue and the ad account. We keep a vehicle catalogue at Meta in line with your stock and run the ads from an ad account we manage. Meta's Ad Library lists your dealership, not LaLista, as the advertiser and payer of the ads.
  • An ad for every car. Your own photo, with the whole car visible and the model and price set cleanly on top, in 4:5 for the feeds and 9:16 for Stories and Reels, with a short ad text written in German or Swedish.
  • Showing the ads to the right people. Under your dealership's name, on Facebook and Instagram, to people within driving distance of your lot. Meta's delivery shows the ads that people click more often.
  • Keeping it current. New arrivals get an ad, price changes are picked up, and sold cars are removed overnight.
  • Your results. In your dashboard, per car: how many people saw it and how many clicked through, updated every day.

The ads are included in the monthly price, so there is also no ad budget to set or top up.

Why the split is drawn here

The one-off steps are the ones only you can do: you know where your cars are listed, and only you can give access to your Page. The continuous work — every new car, every price change, every sale — is exactly the part that wears down a marketing team, so that is the part we take.

If you connect your stock and share your Page today, the next nightly run picks up your cars. The ongoing workload for your team after that is close to zero. And if you ever want to stop, you cancel from your account and remove our access to your Page; there is nothing to uninstall.
